Content & SEO Executive

At Additional Lengths, we believe in always giving that little bit extra. We are looking for a Content & SEO Executive to join our expanding internal team. Working with our management and marketing team your role will be to build on our already existing campaigns as well as create and implement new ones. The right candidate should be prepared to demonstrate a proven track record of previous successful campaigns.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver creative and engaging copy for all channels across our different brands. You will work to protect the brands’ tone of voice across the business, ensuring that everything we create fits within our guidelines.
  • Collaborating with the design team to make sure copy and visuals are always working hand in hand.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop content calendars to support wider marketing plans and campaigns that will achieve the greatest engagement and impact.
  • Copywriting using the brand’s tone of voice to produce copy for social posts, newsletters, web product descriptions, catalogues etc.
  • Provide support across all areas of the marketing landscape where required.
  • Produce weekly/monthly reports and present them to senior management.
  • Develop brand blogs to grow organic traffic through a mix of engaging and keyword driven posts, link building and guest posting.
  • Write and edit new and existing optimised page titles, meta descriptions and other copy as required and contribute to content briefing, writing, formatting, layout design and editing.
  • Provide SEO analysis and technical recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages.
  • Execute on-page optimisation covering website technical, keyword and content issues, plan and execute off-page campaigns and outreach.
  • Research and develop keywords, working with various SEO tools and proposing an SEO roadmap.
  • Monitor and analyse organic search performance data, flag issues, opportunities and competitor insights utilising industry tools
  • Perform continuous testing to increase ranking, engagement and conversion, and conduct advanced on-page SEO exercise regularly.
  • Develop and implement an effective SEO strategy. This includes keyword research, competitor analysis, site audits and creation of content with SEO in mind.
  • Help to develop and grow an effective link building strategy.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years SEO and Content Writing experience within an e-commerce business.
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Keyword planner, Search Console etc.
  • Knowledge of SEO technologies, tools and processes - Screaming Frog, Moz, Majestic, Ahrefs etc.
  • Strong time-management skills and excellent organisational and interpersonal, presentation, writing and editing skills.
  • Able to take responsibility and ownership of assigned tasks; handle multiple work streams and deliver to agreed deadlines, managing priorities and focus as needed.
  • Experience with Shopify and/or Visualsoft platforms.

  • Degree in Marketing, English or related field

  • Experience within the hair & beauty industry

Social Media Executive

At Additional Lengths, we believe in always giving that little bit extra. We are looking for an experienced Social Media Executive to join our expanding internal team. Working with our management and marketing team your role will be to build on our already existing campaigns as well as create and implement new ones. The right candidate should be prepared to demonstrate a proven track record of previous successful campaigns.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work with the Marketing Manager to develop and implement our social media strategy.
  • Create and manage content plans for all social channels.
  • Responsible for the day to day management of our social media platforms. Execute content across all channels using various social media scheduling tools.
  • Ensure messaging is consistent across platforms and that they follow all other marketing channels and plans.
  • Maintain knowledge of new and emerging techniques and approaches to social media.
  • Produce weekly/monthly reports for senior management regarding ongoing campaigns, and content, and make recommendations for growth and improvement.
  • Running paid Social Media advertising campaigns including budgets and targeting.
  • Develop relationships with social media influencers.
  • Support in the planning and execution of campaigns and product launches.
  • Liaise with the creative team to ensure specific content is created for all social channels.
  • Be responsive to customer queries through social media channels in a timely way.
  • Ensure the content calendar is reactive to key moments, promotions, launches that are relevant to customers.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience in social media at a fast-paced company, start-up or agency environment
  • A track record of working in social media, developing, producing and delivering social media content and campaigns
  • Experience of using data and analytics (including Google Analytics) to inform planning and decision making
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for social media
  • Familiarity with Marketing Automation platforms
  • Excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills
  • Experience running successful paid social ads including using Facebook/Instagram ads

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, PR or related field
  • Relationships with third party social media platforms and experience of working with new and emerging online technologies and tools to develop digital and social media content
  • Experience within the e-commerce and/or the hair & beauty industry

Paid Search Specialist

At Additional Lengths, we believe in always giving that little bit extra. We are looking for a Paid Search Specialist to join our expanding internal team. Working with our management and marketing team your role will be to build on our already existing campaigns as well as create and implement new ones. The right candidate should be prepared to demonstrate a proven track record of previous successful campaigns.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Create and plan a variety of PPC campaigns across various digital platforms.
  • Oversee existing campaigns and recommend how to further optimize them.
  • Work with data to make decisions and analyse trends to stay current with the latest PPC strategy.
  • Write engaging copy for PPC adverts.
  • Work with our creative team to develop visually appealing adverts that are on brand and on-trend.
  • Present weekly or monthly reports using Microsoft Office or Google Docs suite to internal and external teams.
  • Present data to the management team when required.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
  • Liaise with external agencies to share best practice.
  • Ensure consistency of communications and messaging across all channels.
  • Monitor weekly and monthly expenditure and allocate funds appropriately across all campaigns.
  • Research market trends, insights, demographics, and other relevant analytical data to form advert strategies.
  • Pro-actively track campaign performance ensuring a good ROI.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Google Adwords Certification
  • A genuine passion for Paid Search
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven track record of successful PPC campaigns
  • Self-motivated
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • Relevant past employment in a similar position

Junior Graphics Designer

At Additional Lengths, we believe in always giving that little bit extra. We are looking for a Junior Graphics Designer to join our expanding internal team. Working with our management and marketing team your role will be to assist in the creation of assets from inception to completion.

Role & Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for designing engaging visual content that adheres to the brand identity and personality. These will include leaflets, posters, email campaigns, presentations, brochures, website content, social media assets and more.
  • Design assets for our digital platforms, creating engaging graphics for our social channels as well as regularly updating website and digital banners.
  • Assist the Marketing team in building email campaigns.
  • Design for packaging and print marketing materials.
  • A good understanding of print processes and production.
  • Assisting the Marketing team with any photoshoot preparation.
  • Manipulate images and retouch photos.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest competitor visual communications and marketing campaigns.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Graphic Design
  • Experience across the Adobe creative software suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc)
  • Ability to produce artwork from initial brief to the finished product
