Junior Graphics Designer

We are looking to recruit a Junior Graphics Designer to create and develop eye-catching and compelling designs across a range of offline and online channels.  You will work under the supervision of the Senior Management Team to produce high-quality work.  In this role, you should be highly creative and have a sharp eye for details. If you’re passionate about design and eager to learn more, we’d like to meet you.

Main Role and Responsibilities

- To create designs across a range of channels including; leaflets, posters, email campaigns, presentations, brochures, website content, social media platforms, and other documents
- Create impactful designs that capture and promote the company and brand vision
- Work within the brand guidelines to ensure brand image is consistent
- Design products and packaging based on company specifications
- Help design and produce visual elements used across digital platforms
- Proofreading of all written and design work to produce high-quality work
- Provide resources for external Media/PR agencies
- To see projects through from inception to production
- Use various techniques to create drafts, models and prototypes
- Produce final design solutions (like logos, banners, interfaces)
- Pitch creative ideas
- Collaborate with team members to launch projects
- Take on special design tasks (e.g. colour correction)
- Understand project requirements and concepts
- Undertake competitor research and analysis
- Manipulate images and retouch photos
- Preparing and sending artwork for print
- Offer ideas and create designs for video creation projects
- Lead the creation and maintenance of the weekly email newsletter
- Creative input on regular meetings for content ideas and strategies
- Support other departments in the company as and when required

Key Attributes

- Experience across the Adobe creative software suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc)
- Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense
- Confidence to present and explain ideas to colleagues
- Ability to produce artwork from initial brief right up to the finished product
- Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Attention to detail with a strong sense of colour and style
- The motivation to maintain and improve design standards
- The willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve


- Interest in photography and editing
- Video editing experience would be a bonus
- Other programmes within the Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom, and Premier Pro would be advantageous
- Educated to a degree level within Graphic Design

Hours of Work

- 30 to 40 hours per week between the hours of 9:00am - 17:00pm Monday - Friday.
