London Fashion Week is drawing to a close and we’ve seen some amazing fun & creative hair. We’ve hand-picked the top trends to try.
Back to the future!
There were quite a few references back in time with a modern take on 70’s waves brushed out and big as well as extenuated quiff like this by Sibling. Best to try this with at least day old here to help grip!
Make a Splash
The wet look was a AW15 trend too but we’ve seen some amazing wet looks helping sleek out long hair and adding some creativity with your fringe. Mary Katrantzou’s stylist Duffy created these perfectly parted bangs with chop sticks on the ear as guidelines. The shape harps to creating a star shape on the models face and the rest of the hair left natural.
It’s not all about the perfectly groomed look as you can pull off the windswept romance of Temperely’s topknot simply let those loose strands wisp around the edges of you face.
There were plenty more ponytails and variations of twists & plaits and Alexander McQueen’s show was packed with beautiful adornments of brooches, chains and clips. We can see this working as bridal hair. For more inspiration spend some time on Vogue’s Backstage Beauty Gallery.
