Lily James looked stunning at last night’s UK premiere of Cinderella looking effortlessly elegant with her hair slicked back & poker straight. To gain Lily’s hues, try mix Remi Cachet shades of #16 & #18 with a few strands of #08 underneath in at least 50cm length to pass you shoulder blades. She does not shy away from the current trend to bare her roots and opts for a centre parting showing this off. With hair smoothed down with Hair Oil and straightened perfectly to reveal a blunt cut to her long locks & blonder ends. Hair tucked behind her ears offered some femininity to the look.

Last year we were also finalists for three categories – see our blog back then. The Hair Awards are split into two categories – The Cut for stylists & The Super 60 which we have entered. So we were back at Manchester Pro Hair Live again this weekend. We had a blast as always as we get to see so many of your guys, chat hair, talk technique and have a general good laugh. The team included our educators Abigail Nicholls & Phil Pybus, working alongside our MD Victoria Lynch and Kieran Fleming from LilK’s in Derby invited to work as a guest artist.
We have introduced 30 new products to the Remi Cachet range since last year and so we had a lot to show & tell. There was a lot of interest for the new Fan Tips and of course our new Aftercare Range. We used Pro Hair to launch our latest addition to the range our Hair Oil and the super cute new 100ml versions of our best selling Shampoo & Conditioner.
Kieran did a sterling job with the applications on stand and it was great opportunity for many of our own Remi Cachet stylists to get their own hair fitted with free application. Stylists were in love watching the chance to see him work & ask questions. See all his amazing transformations over on our Facebook page. Thanks Kieran xx
One thing that caught our eye, and of many of the stylists we talked to, was the perfect LA Weave™ application (TM – KMHairExtensions.) We saw some absolutely shocking bad examples and so Kieran and our educator Abigail Nicholls tried out a new technique there and then on Abigail’s own hair. The key is correct application without big sections to prevent pulling the hair. Take a sneak peek of our Hollywood Weft technique in this short video which caused such a story with fellow RC guru’s.
