As we wake up to no more #LFW here’s our take on the week of amazing hair fashion. Well unsurprisingly we are seeing more of the natural, tousled hair following on from #NYFW blog again at this weeks London Fashion Week. The big move forward was for more knotted buns. We saw a great array but have picked out a couple of our fav.
We are fast becoming fans of the work of Guido Palau with this neat bun on the forehead. We also see a lot of contrast between the sleek, even wet looks at times, across the head and then the texture of the ends within the bun. The plated wide bun was seen at Altuzarra Hair, by Odile Gilbert, was soaked with product for a damp texture and pinned into flat, messy up-dos.
Also check out this VT for a speedy tied-up bun by Leigh Keates for the Emilio DeLaMorena show. This might take practise & an extra set of hands!
Continuing the fresh, healthy vibe – Topshop & Ralph Lauren created windswept looks with lots of texture spray. Check out this How To to create Rodarte’s rain waves.
We also spotted more leather accessories with gorgeous headbands worn on the top of the hair at Proenza Schouler show by stylist Anthony Turner and then these cute half up -do’s with bows at Holly Fulton’s show.
If you get chance at lunchtime – flick through more gorgeous inspiration at Vogue’s Backstage AW15 gallery.
