Hairaising – here’s our guide to help with static & fly away hair

Static hair isn’t just reserved for those with fine hair.  Winter time can dry out hair as well as our skin and with another freezing spell around the corner help is at hand so you can still wear your bobble hats & have glam hair.
  1. Keep hair hydrated. This means using the right products – try Remi Cachet’s new aftercare range , not only is it Suphate & Paraben free but it has been specifically designed for all bond types and most importantly, to keep hair extensions well cared for to stay.  Also use iconic hairdryer & straighteners to style your hair as these use less heat and prevent the hair from drying out.
  2. Some say use a comb, but maybe try spraying a little hairspray on to your brush first.    Top Tip from our founder Vicky – remember to clean your brush out thoroughly first.
  3. Finally eliminate any fly away hair and prevent static with an oil on the lengths & ends of your hair to lock in the moisture & act as a barrier to any friction preventing static.  Now watch this space as we heard there is something exciting being developed by you know who at Remi Cachet to keep your tresses in check.
We’ve read some other tips of passing metal coat hangers over your hair & even using a tumble dryer sheet to smooth over your hair; but we think we will stick to our Top three.   If you know any more tricks we can try, please let us know.
