Hair Tips

Hocus Pocus with a pinch of hair

With Halloween at the end of the week we couldn’t help but want to mix up some Hocus Pocus hair with out top three ideas:

Our absolute top favourite is Morticia Addams and so elegant you can continue to wear it for the rest of the year.    Long locks are the key here #longhairdontcare.  Our colour 01 will have the perfect shade and with our seamless Mini Locks applications your tresses will be lie flat & undetectable.   To keep the high shine try spraying Morrocan Oil’s Glimmer Shine Spray.

SJP Hocus Pocus - Halloween 2014

We have to add our style icon SJP as a witch in Hocus Pocus.  Here she has some strong curls into her hair, but the beach-bedraggled look also works here.   Try Remi Cachet’s Platinum Blonde hue here such as the New Remi Cachet Elegance SUPER Weft and with your styling tool create curls but don’t be afraid to pull them through and even back comb some areas to add texture.

Our last suggestion is to add maybe a hint of red with our 99J hue whether in the fringe or around the face. Similarly, a section of platinum blonde in a head of dark hair is striking – think Cruella DeVille.   If you want a quick fix think about our Tape Hair extensions available on next day delivery.  Don’t forget to accessories your hair too!

If you want to see pretty amazing costume, make up & hair ideas from a few celebs, then take a peek at this if you dare!

Whatever you do the tricks you need for great Halloween hair are think big, volume; get your essential mousse & hairspray to hand and be prepared for some back combing. Last up – have a great time and send us some treats by posting & tweeting your Halloween Hair Snaps.

Style icon Sarah Jessica Parker is a classic ash brunette and by blending all three of the the new shades from Remi Cachet together would recreate her iconic hair.  Sarah wears her hair down for a recent photoshoot for her new shoe collection and works a few blonde strands around the face for a sun kissed warmth in these autumnal days.

Wrap Up with Remi Cachet

We have just returned from the hair industries exhibition Salon International in London where we launched the latest new product from Remi Cachet – their Wavy Wrap.   It went down a storm with stylists across the world and it’s fair to say not many made it back home.

So what’s so special about this hair Wrap? It’s the first 100% human hair wrap in the market and is made from the Luxury hair range of Chinese AAA* grade hair in six inch lengths and on a band to easily wrap around your hair help form a perfect bun.  Being human hair, the Wavy Wrap will be able to be styled, straightened and washed to keep using.

Founder of Remi Cachet and lady with this light bulb moment creating the Wavy Wrap, Victoria Lynch “Hair buns were used all over New York and London Fashion Weeks, but we find customers really want volume in their hair.   With in 19 shades to choose from the Wavy Wrap will be a popular choice this Christmas.”   We even picked Danielle Lloyds bun as our top look from last week’s Pride of Britain Award.

Head over to our shop to find out more.

Our Top Three Hair picks from the Pride of Britain Awards

Last night’s Pride of Britain Awards 2014 was all about some amazing people with not a dry eye in the house.   But it’s also a great night out on the red carpet – glitz, glamour & great hair.

It was definitely all about showing off their backs with the gowns on show and first up is Danielle O’Hara/Lloyd high volume bun was so elegant and added more height to her slim figure and heels.  Her hair gently wrapped around the bun shows off her golden brown highlights to complement her sun kissed skin and is finished with a wrap around the base.  This looks really stole the show for us but we have to also show you Stictlys Iveta’s side updo for some Christmas Do inspiration.

The other big trend we are seeing is the change from big volume to more long and sleek hair as Cheryl Fernandez-Versini wowed with.  She positively glowed as the X Factor judge and newly-wed braved the rain.   Many more celebs also opting for this look included Rachel Stevens and  Abbey Clancy.

Our last choice is Myleen Klass’ side sweep with volume and waves flowing down her right side we defiantly think we will be seeing more of this look on the high street soon.
